My father-in-law died yesterday, about age 85. He was a self-made millionaire, very frugal. A child of the depression, he smoked cheap cigars, drove old cars, etc.
The family decides on a mausoleum style burial !
Nothing like honoring the guy's lifestyle in a way he'd disapprove of !

I'm sure he'd have just wanted a more average tribute to his life ! A typical funeral. He wasn't President Kennedy, or Winston Churchill, just an ordinairy man, that worked hard, never took a vacation and made good.

Family does what makes them feel good, I guess ! They will fight like crazy, now ! I had to take 5 aspirin last night !
They all want the money, my wife not greedy, refusing now. A real mess. Widow should get all , IMO, and decide for herself.
